via the Deegan - 87 South
- take the exit marked Triborough Bridge/FDR Drive/Grand Central Pkwy
- merge onto I-278 west
- take the exit towards Manhattan/Randalls-Wards Island
- merge onto Triborough Bridge
- take the FDR Drive ramp
- merge onto FDR Drive south
- take the Houston Street exit and turn right onto Houston
- from Houston Street turn left onto Mercer Street

From New Jersey
via the George Washington Bridge
- drive over the George Washington Bridge and merge onto the Henry Hudson Parkway
- the Henry Hudson becomes Joe Dimaggio Highway
- turn left onto West 14th Street
- turn right onto Hudson Street
- turn left onto Bethune Street
- turn right onto Bleecker Street
- turn right onto Laguardia place

via the Long Island Expressway
- take the Long Island Expressway (495 West) towards the Midtown Tunnel
- drive through the tunnel
- take the 35th Street exit on the right towards 34th Street/Downtown
- turn left onto east 34th Street
- turn right onto 2nd avenue
- turn right onto Houston Street
- turn left onto Mercer Street

From Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge
- take the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan
- exit off the Park Row North ramp towards the Civic Center
- keep left at the fork in the ramp
- merge onto Park Row

- Confucius Plaza becomes Bowery
